Railway Walks
There is plenty of excellent walking in Pembrokeshire. Walks appear on the PRTA web site either because they start and end at stations or because they have some kind of railway interest. Walks come in two kinds:
PLANED walks -
You may get by without a map, but in case you get lost OS 1:25,000 scale maps 35 and 36 are invaluable. You may also wish to take copies of Arriva Trains Wales timetable B, and the Pembrokeshire County Council Bus timetable, available from Tourist Information Centres.
If walking in South Pembrokeshire, the Greenways day ranger is excellent value at £3.50 and allows unlimited travel on the railway between Pembroke Dock and Whitland for a day.

PLANED walks
PLANED is the Pembrokeshire Local Action Network for Enterprise and Development based in Narberth. They have produced a series of walking leaflets.
